Instead of jumping back into the chaos, we started with a question:
What does a healthy, fulfilling business look like for you?
For him, the answer was clear. He wanted to feel excited about the work he was doing, knowing it was making a real impact. But just as importantly, he needed his business to support his well-being—not destroy it.
We redesigned his offer from the ground up. Instead of working directly for nonprofits (who couldn’t afford his full services), we got creative and built a model where brands would fund the work while nonprofits reaped the benefits.
This approach allowed him to do meaningful work without compromising his financial security—or his boundaries.
With a new structure in place, he finally had clear guardrails for the type of clients he took on, the hours he worked, and the projects he said “yes” to (and the ones he let go).
It wasn’t just about running a smarter business. It was about reclaiming his life.
